I’m a nonbinary, bilingual and bisexual writer, linguist, knitter, poet, expat, anticapitalist conversion rate optimiser, voracious reader, early adopter, teacher, certified “total geek”, notemaker, ambiguity tolerator and recovering minimalist.

Some of these things will come up here — others won’t. Like copywriting, communications consultancy and transcreation.

I no longer post on Facebook or Instagram. I never signed up for TikTok. And when I’m on Twitter, it’s literally only to complain.

So, it’s become more difficult to stay in touch.

Especially as a multiple expat with more friends, acquaintances and online connections abroad than close to home.

I’m starting this newsletter so we can chat about the stuff I think about. Whether it’s a new poem or a mini essay, a rant or a question. I might add in the odd quarterly review if I experienced something particularly interesting.
