Why do I use sunscreen every day
when I don’t actually spend time in the sun?

Despite being the proud owner of two dogs
and a new kitchen garden

Despite joining a club for wild water swimming
and in spite of working 6-hour days

Is it because we turned the dining room table
and now I enjoy the view of that garden so much
from inside
